Sterling fiber optics manufacturer Fiberoptic Components LLC has changed its name to Innofiber.

The company unveiled its new logo and website in a Tuesday press release to convey a more contemporary image as the company expands its product lines.

Citing data from San Francisco’s Grand View Research, the global medical fiber optics market is projected to grow at a 6% compound annual growth rate through 2030 to $1.6 billion.

Innofiber manufactures and supplies laser and illumination fiber optic cables, probes, and sub-assemblies. The company operates out of its 18,000 square-foot headquarters in Sterling.
