Sturbridge nets $260K grant

On Thursday, Rep. Richard Neal of the 2nd Congressional District of Massachusetts will visit Old Sturbridge Village to announce an award of a $260,000 grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH).

Old Sturbridge Village was one of only five institutions nationwide to receive funding.

The award is part of an initiative called "Interpreting America's Historic Places", a program that allows winners of the grant to research effective ways to implement all aspects of project planning, including focus groups web site design, among others.
