Little Explorers Child Care Center in Templeton has received a nearly $40,000 microloan from the North Central Massachusetts Development Corp. to purchase its building, the loan organization announced Tuesday.

The center was opened in 2012 by Lindsey Page, who plans to buy the building at 1107 Patriots Road (Route 2A) she now leases in order to accommodate the growing business. The loan, made in partnership with Bank Hometown, will create two new jobs.

The North Central Massachusetts Development Corp., which announced the loan, makes loans for small businesses of up to $150,000 for expansion, capital and other needs. It has loaned more than $4.2 million since its start in 1996.
