Thrive Support & Advocacy, a nonprofit empowering youth and adults with developmental disabilities in Marlborough, presented UMass Memorial - Marlborough Hospital with its Standing Ovation Award according to a Thursday press release.

Thrive presents the honor to supportive stakeholders who work collaboratively with the non-profit to support the community.

Marlborough Hospital has supported Thrive with specialized care for the agency’s clients over many years. During the pandemic, Marlborough Hospital furthered its commitment to Thrive by providing critical COVID-19 services and resources such as testing, vaccination, care, and oversight, according to Thrive.

“All of us at UMass Memorial Health are so proud of the incredible achievements our Marlborough Hospital teams have accomplished since the pandemic began. Being honored with the Standing Ovation award demonstrates their commitment to serving their community, even during extreme adversity,” said  Dr. Eric Dickson, president and CEO of UMass Memorial Health.
