UMass Memorial Health Care is one of seven hospital systems in Massachusetts to make an honor roll of those best using technology to improve care.

The Worcester-based hospital system was among those receiving a most-wired recognition by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, a Michigan professional group known as CHIME that has conducted the technology survey for the past three years. The group's listing of hospital systems was based on surveys covering ambulatory and long-term care. Each system was scored in eight areas, including infrastructure, security, business and disaster recovery, patient engagement and clinical quality and safety.

UMass Memorial, which includes hospitals in Worcester, Clinton, Leominster and Marlborough, scored a seven out of 10, among the highest certifications.

Other Massachusetts hospital systems honored by CHIME were Mass General Brigham, Lowell General Hospital, Baystate Health in Springfield, Southcoast Health System in New Bedford, Emerson Hospital in Concord and South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
