United grows at healthy rate
UnitedHealth Group Inc., parent company of United Healthcare and Uniprise in Hartford, saw second quarter net income jump to $1.2 billion from $981 million at the same time last year. The companies revenue increased 6 percent to $18.9 billion. Premium revenue went up 5.2 percent to $17.3 billion.
