Wanted: Employers To Boost Wellness
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is looking for employers to take part in a workplace wellness program this year.
Up to 12 employers will be able to be part of Working on Wellness this year. They will receive an information kit, training sessions and networking opportunities to help them encourage employees to make healthy choices.
The DPH says worksite wellness programs can reduce sick time by 28 percent and reduce health care costs by 26 percent.
