Westborough Firm Adds Dell Exec To Board

Westborough-based Lithium Ion battery maker Boston-Power Inc. has named long-time Dell Inc. executive Martin J. Garvin to its board of directors.
Garvin, who was most recently Dell's senior vice president of worldwide procurement, spent 11 years at Dell and retired earlier this year. Garvin also spent time as an executive with HP and Sun Microsystems.
Boston-Power is developing long-lasting Lithium Ion batteries for notebook computers.
