Woodmeister Recognized For Workplace Safety

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will honor Woodmeister Master Builders of Holden with its highest honor for small worksites Wednesday.

OSHA will visit the company's 120-employee Holden facility to present the company with its Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award. Since 1995, fewer than 1,200 worksites nationwide have received the SHARP award. Woodmeister is the 16th company in Massachusetts and the third in Worcester County to receive it.

The award identifies Woodmeister as a model for worksite safety and health. It also exempts the custom luxury home builder from OSHA inspections for two years.
