Worcester horseshoe maker presents at White House

A worker at St. Pierre Manufacturing in Worcester makes a pitching horseshoe set.
St. Pierre Manufacturing, a Worcester manufacturer of pitching horseshoe sets, represented Massachusetts on Monday at the White House’s Made in America event.
The Made in America event featured one company from each state in an effort to highlight and celebrate American-made products, according to the White House. Companies featured at the event make everything from door hinges to candy to lawnmowers.
St. Pierre Manufacturing was founded in 1920 and makes tire chains and industrial chains as well as horseshoes.
