AstraZeneca named top employer

AstraZeneca, a healthcare company with offices in Westboro, was named a "top employer" by Science magazine for the fifth year in a row.
Science ranks companies with the best reputations as employers, based on 656 survey responses from the magazine's readers. 331 companies received a unique score based on 42 specific characteristics or attributes in seven categories.
Examples of categories in which companies were ranked included whether or not employees were treated with respect and whether work-culture values were aligned with personal values.
AstraZeneca specializes in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of prescription pharmaceuticals.
