Cardiologists Join UMass Memorial Med. Group

The six-physician practice of Cardiology Consultants of Central Massachusetts has joined forces with the UMass Memorial Medical Group.
Cardiology Consultants was formed in 1979 and reported more than 24,000 patient visits in 2009. The group will continue to provide care at its current location at 40 Converse St. in Worcester, but will now operate under the name UMass Memorial Cardiology.
The UMass Memorial Medical Group is the faculty practice plan for UMass Memorial Health Care and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The group includes more than 960 doctors.
The member physicians from Cardiology Consultants making the switch include: Richard Angoff, Clifford Browning, Joshua Greenberg, David Lyons, Dennis Maki and Richard Wholey.
