Gardner Co. Pursues ISO Cert.

Gardner-based New England Peptide LLC is developing a quality management system in preparation for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System registration.
New England Peptide is in the process of documenting and standardizing all of the quality control processes and procedures involved in the manufacturing of the company's products. All company employees will undergo training in policies, procedures and work instructions in line with ISO standards.
The company, which makes custom peptides for the drug and vaccine industry, said the new system will complement its lean manufacturing program. It expects to be ISO certified in about nine months.
ISO is an international standard for quality management.
