The owner of Vitória Meat Market, which took over operations of D’Errico’s Market in March 2024, has purchased the Worcester site of the market for $1.2 million.
An entity managed by Vitória President Erison Rocha purchased 141 East Central St. in a deal finalized on July 14, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records.
The property was sold by JL Bread & Butter, Inc., a Charlton-based corporation managed by Ladijane Evangelista, the wife of Joseph Evangelista, the former owner of D’Errico’s who passed away in 2019.
Vitória has 15 locations in total across Massachusetts, according to Google Maps listings. The company has been expanding since it took over operation of D’Errico’s, opening a Burlington location earlier in 2025, according to the Daily Times Chronicle.
Vitória’s location in Worcester is its only store in Central Massachusetts.
The building at 141 East Central St. is a 5,436-square-foot brick building constructed in 1955, according to City of Worcester property records. The site received a 2025 tax assessment value of $609,400.
