Get the guide, go see a game

Hingham-based Maple Street Press has released its "Guide to New England Ballparks."
Maple Street said the book "is the first comprehensive guide to the various ballyards of the region." It is written by Tom Mason, an attorney from Lakeville who is also a member of the Society for American Baseball Research.
The guide provides detailed information about each ballpark in the region, as well as driving directions.
According to Maple Street, the guide was published as a way to get baseball fans to some of the region's smaller, minor-league and amateur parks at a time when tickets for Boston Red Sox games are both expensive and hard to come by.
