IPG Execs To Open Nasdaq

Executives from Oxford-based laser-maker IPG Photonics Corp. are scheduled to open the Nasdaq stock market Monday.
The ceremony is to recognize the one-year anniversary of the company's IPO, which passed in December.
Valentin Gapontsev, IPG's chairman and CEO, along with other members of the company's management team, will open the market that day at 9:15 a.m. at the Nasdaq in Times Square. The ceremony will be shown live on the Nasdaq's web site.
