Q. How are you settling in at your new office?

A. It has gone far better than expected. Sepaton is a dynamic entrepreneurial company with high energy and a strong work ethic. Everybody on the management team has welcomed me and has been extremely helpful in getting me up to speed.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?

A. It’s a competitive market and we will have to work both diligently and creatively to form partnerships with other companies. Fortunately we have a strong and unique solution and large customer base to build upon.

Q. What's your favorite thing about Central Massachusetts?

A. Central Massachusetts is close to major city attractions but also the feel of the country. No need to go anywhere else to “get away” for a weekend, because you can get away within your own community. You are within five minutes of world class educational and health-care institutions, but also working farms, hiking trails and town commons.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?

A. I have accomplished far more in life, both personally and professionally than I expected while in high school. I consider myself blessed.

Q. How far is your commute to the office?

A. Less than 10 miles

Q. What's the best way to keep your energy and motivation up when you're having a long day?

A. Take a quick break and call my wonderful wife and talk about something fun, like our weekend plans.

Q. Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

A. Golf, woodworking, antiquing.

Q. What's on your to-do list for the next couple of days?

A. At work: Continue to do everything I can to make Sepaton successful. For the next couple of days the list includes 20+ significant activities. At home: Go with my wife to our favorite farm stand before it closes for the season. Enjoy the fall foliage in Central Mass from our backyard and around the area.
