Dudley-based Nichols College announced two recent promotions. BILL PIECZYNSKI was promoted to vice president for advancement at Nichols College in Dudley. He previously associate vice president. He has a degree from Catawba College in North Carolina. ALAN REINHARDT was promoted to provost and senior vice president. Reinhardt has worked at the college since 1985, starting as an assistant professor and becoming a professor, then a dean, and then vice president for academic affairs. His new position gives him responsibility for all academic programs and services in the day and evening division. He will also continue to serve as the dean for academic affairs within the day division. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s in English from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England has appointed MARY TAVOLIERI as sales manager of its Shrewsbury office. In her new position, Tavolieri will oversee more than 60 salespeople in Central Massachusetts. She has worked in residential real estate for more than 22 years and managed ERA Key Real Estate Services’ Worcester office for the past decade. Tavolieri is also a director and an instructor with the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors.

Digital Federal Credit Union has promoted SCOTT AUEN to vice president of mortgage lending. Auen has been a mortgage operations manager with the credit union since 2002. His new position gives him responsibility for DCU’s real estate lending department. Auen has worked in financial services for almost 20 years, including time with American Airlines Credit Union in Texas, The Money Store Mortgage in Oklahoma and Security Pacific Financial Services in Nebraska. Auen has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Wayne State College in Nebraska. He lives in Shrewsbury.

Biomedical Research Models Inc./Biomere, a contract research organization based in Worcester and Maryland, has hired Dr. ALAIN STRICKER-KRONGRAD as senior vice president of science and business development. Stricker-Krongrad has worked in pharmacology and preclinical research for more than 20 years, most recently as chief scientific officer of Wilmington-based Charles River Laboratories. He has a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Henri Poincare in France and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers.

MetroWest Financial Partners LLC of Westborough has appointed DAVID ALLOR as director of business development. Allor has spent more than 20 years developing new business for companies in the commercial design, printing and health care services industries. In his new position, he will help the firm provide financial management services for family-owned businesses and high-income professionals.

Dr. LALITA MATTA was named chief medical offer and vice president of medical affairs at Marlborough Hospital. She is a graduate of Topiwala National Medical College and she completed residencies at St. Vincent and B.Y.L. hospitals. She has been in private practice for 17 years.

Accounting firm Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli PC announced several promotions and new hires. JONATHAN HARTLINE of Worcester has been promoted to senior accountant. Hartline has been with the firm since 2007 and is a graduate of Worcester State University. The firm hired staff accountant SARA BAILEY of Worcester, a 2010 graduate of Nichols College; senior accountant CASSANDRA DAY of Oxford, a graduate of Suffolk University; and manager CHRISTOPHER MONTGOMERY of Milford, a graduate of New York State Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.

ROBERT A. NUSS has been named Midwest regional vice president for Conservation Services Group, a national energy services firm based in Westborough. His responsibilities include overseeing regional strategy, directing client accounts and ensuring contract compliance and performance standards for programs in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan. Nuss holds a bachelor's of science in building construction and contracting from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He received his certification in energy management from the Association of Energy Engineers and is a former chairman of the South Shore Clean Cities Marketing Committee. Nuss is a resident of DeMotte, Ind.

Commerce Bank announced that the following employees have been promoted to assistant vice president: NEDAL AZZAM, manager of the Goldstar branch office in Worcester; SEAN COYLE, manager of the Milford branch office; ADAM GLASS, manager of retail operations; JAMES GOODHUE, manager of the Leominster branch office; DANIELLE JOHNSON, manager of the Shrewsbury branch office; EILEEN LESSARD, director of Commerce Bank’s Royal 50’s Club; NIKOLE NOLLE, manager of the Main Street branch office in Worcester; NURJAN WILKIE, manager of the Park Avenue branch office in Worcester; and AMANDA WILSON, manager of the Holden branch office.

ERA Key Realty Services welcomes JUDY B. BUTLER to the firm’s Worcester office. A resident of Paxton, Butler earned a bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton. For 10 years she worked as a substitute teacher in the Leicester, Spencer, Paxton and Auburn school systems. Butler has also been active in the real estate community, serving on the education and computer committees, as well as the professional standard and ethics committees.

JACK LANK, president of The United Regional Chamber of Commerce, was elected to a two-year term on the board of directors of the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. He is also on the board of directors for the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum, vice president on the board of directors for the Attleboro Area School to Career Partnership, a member of the board of regents for the Institute for Organization Management and an incorporator for the Hockomock YMCA and the United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton.

MICHAEL BOVENZI has joined Rollstone Bank & Trust as a commercial lender and vice president. Mr. Bovenzi has 10 years of commercial banking experience. In his new position, Bovenzi will be responsible for developing new commercial business with a focus on the Worcester market. Rollstone also welcomes back SUSAN ROY as the bank’s new loan servicing officer. Ms. Roy has more than 22 years of banking experience and holds an associate’s degree from Mt. Wachusett Community College.
