DAVID A. HARMON of Chelmsford has been promoted to senior vice president and chief lending officer at Clinton Savings Bank. Harmon now chairs the bank’s loan committee and is responsible for providing leadership, direction and support for the bank’s lending functions. He began his banking career in 1991, and has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Framingham State University.
ABRAHAM
Dr. GEORGE M. ABRAHAM of Shrewsbury, the chief of medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, has been named to the board of regents of the American College of Physicians, a national organization of internal medicine physicians. Abraham is a professor of medicine at UMass Medical School and an adjunct professor of medicine at MCPHS University, both in Worcester.
JEFFREY A. WOLFMAN is the new vice president of institutional advancement for Fitchburg State University. He was most recently the director of development at Hampshire College in Amherst. He has been the director of institutional advancement at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Connecticut and held leadership roles at UMass Amherst and UMass Dartmouth.
Fidelity Bank in Fitchburg has appointed CHARISSE MURPHY and CYNTHIA RING as new corporators for 10-year terms. Murphy is the director of development at YOU Inc. in Worcester, and Ring is the chief people officer at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. The bank has also re-elected to three-year director terms BRIAN CIRELLI, SCOTT HOWARD, RONALD MARCHETTI and MAUREEN MARSHALL, and re-elected to one-year terms ALVIN COLLINS as clerk and JUDY KHALLADY as assistant clerk.

MARIAH L. HEPPE has joined Estate Preservation Law Offices in Worcester as an attorney. She formerly worked for Cohen & Oalican in Boston in estate planning and elder law, and for Margolis & Bloom in Boston, where she specialized in long-term care planning, wealth preservation, estate planning and other areas. She has a law degree from Suffolk University in Boston and a bachelor’s from Wheaton College in Norton.
WILLIAMS
LORITA B. WILLIAMS has been named the vice president of development and alumni affairs at Becker College in Worcester effective July 29. She joins Becker from Roxbury Community College, where she was most recently the vice president of advancement and community engagement. She has more than 25 years of senior management and leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit and business organizations. Williams is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston.
PLATA-NINO
GINA PLATA-NINO, an attorney at Community Legal Aid’s Central West Justice Center in Worcester, has received the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Rising Star Award. The award is given annually to a public-interest attorney who has significantly contributed to access to justice for an underserved population. Her recent efforts included helping families who relocated to the area from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. Plata-Nino is a 2012 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.
KELLEY
JOHN S. KELLEY has joined UniBank in Whitinsville as vice president and senior commercial banking officer. He was previously the chief lending officer and senior vice president at Bank of New England in New Hampshire, and managing director of commercial real estate lending at Commerce Bank in Worcester. Kelley has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American International College in Springfield.
WAKEFIELD
REID M. WAKEFIELD has joined the law firm Mirick O’Connell’s Westborough office as an associate in the labor, employment and employee benefits group. He previously served as commission counsel for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and worked for the Florida Attorney General’s Office.
BARNARD
Dr. KATHERINE BARNARD of the Family Health Center of Worcester has been appointed to the Reliant Foundation’s board of trustees. Barnard, a UMass Medical School graduate, has nearly two decades of experience in family medicine in Worcester, including work with interagency collaboration and educational programs.
