Psychemedics Jumps To Nasdaq

Acton-based drug tester Psychemedics Corp. says it will bail from the American Stock Exchange and begin trading on the Nasdaq stock market later this month.
After the close of trading Sept. 22, Psychemedics will cease trading on the AMEX. The next day, the company, using the same "PMD" symbol, will begin trading on the Nasdaq.
The company said the Nasdaq would provide Psychemedics with greater exposure and faster execution of trades. Psychemedics tests hair for what it calls "drugs of abuse."
