Worcester Auctioneer To Lead National Program

Mark Shear, president of Worcester's Berman Auctioneers & Appraisers, has been appointed the new chairman of the Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate education program.
The program is run by the National Auctioneers Association Education Institute. The AARE designation is the highest in the real estate auction industry. Shear will lead a team responsible for the development and oversight of the AARE curriculum.
Shear will also oversee the evaluation process for candidates. AARE auctioneers are required to take continuing education courses to maintain the designation.
