Raytheon Company, which is based in Waltham and has operations in Marlboro, was selected as one of the Department of Defense's (DoD) Top 5 Program Award recipients for its Mission Integration and Development program (MIND).
The second such award for Raytheon recognizes excellence in the application of systems
engineering resulting in highly successful programs. In November, Raytheon received the award for its Centaur program, developed by the Network Centric Systems division in Marlboro.
The MIND program was developed for the National Reconnaissance Office to aid in the development, integration, operation, and maintenance of the Office's future imagery architecture. The DoD selected the program for oversight related to program management.
