Staples COO Takes On International Biz

Framingham-based Staples Inc. announced that Mike Miles, president and chief operating officer, will take over the responsibilities of Staples International.
Miles is taking over for Peter Ventress, who is leaving the company to accept a position as CEO of a UK-based public company.
Miles joined Staples in 2003 as COO and was promoted to president and COO in 2006.
