UTC financials flying high
United Technologies Corp. today said its earnings per share rose 22 percent in the third quarter, while net income escalated 20 percent. The Hartford-based conglomerate said profits at five of its six divisions grew by double digits in the quarter. UTC also raised its revenue projections for the year, adding another billion dollars to its sales forecast.
