A Shrewsbury adult community has won three national awards from The National Association of Home Builders' 50-Plus Housing Council.
Adams Farm, a 90-unit housing development on Route 140 for people 55 and older, is the newest project by Brendon Homes of Southborough. It won gold awards for "best small active adult community in the United States" and "best interior merchandizing of a small clubhouse," as well as a silver award for "best attached home design over 2,400 square feet."
Homes at Adams farm range from 2,328 to 2,887 square feet, and prices start in the high $500,000 range, Brendon said. It said it is planning for new units priced from the low $400,000s.
