Bay State Savings names four to EVP

Bay State Savings Bank announced on Wednesday it has promoted four of its executives to the position of executive vice president, joining President & CEO Peter Alden as the bank's five-person leadership team.

The new executive vice presidents are: 

  • Seth Pitts, who joined the bank in 2020 and is now chief financial officer and executive vice president
  • Maria Allard, who joined the bank in 2016 and is now senior lender and executive vice president
  • Diane Giampa, who joined the bank in 1997 and is now executive vice president for human resources, marketing and retail banking
  • Lucas Miller, who joined the bank in 2013 and is now general counsel and executive vice president for compliance

“These promotions will help Bay State Savings Bank continue to prioritize customer needs while ensuring our employees have the necessary tools to grow both themselves and our business," Alden said in the announcement.

Bay State Savings Bank has about $350 million in local deposits and $440 million in assets, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., with 70 employees spread across seven branches.
