KRISTIN PRYOR has joined Bryley Systems of Clinton as the director of services/delivery. She has an information technology background of more than 25 years, including as an IT manager, technical project manager and infrastructure manager. She previously worked for Virgin Pulse as manager of information technology. Pryor received her bachelor's degree from Bentley University in Boston.
Dr. MEGAN IVANOFF has joined Concierge Physical Therapy in Sutton. Ivanoff graduated from the doctor of therapy program at Chapman University in California in 2009. She has practiced in a variety of outpatient orthopedic clinics in the U.S. and abroad including California, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Dubai. She has experience in the treatment of a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses including general orthopedics, pre-/post-operative care, sports and repetitive strain injuries, balance and vestibular disorders, traumatic brain injury and stroke.
Dr. JASON KASS has joined Reliant Medical Group’s otolaryngology department and is now seeing patients at the Worcester Medical Center office at 123 Summer St. as well as at Reliant’s Milford and Southborough offices. Kass has a medical degree from Boston University, completed his internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and performed a fellowship in advanced head and neck oncology and robotics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
KEVIN FOLEY of Framingham has been reappointed to a second five-year term on Framingham State University’s board of trustees. Foley is the financial and general accounting director of the Marmaxx Group at TJX Cos. in Framingham, with more than 25 years of experience in finance and administrative roles in retail and financial services. He is a 1984 graduate of Framingham State University and a member and past president of the FSU Foundation.
ELYSON DOS SANTOS of Worcester has been appointed the business banking officer of Worcester for Rockland Trust. Dos Santos has more than 13 years of retail banking experience, including as a small business relationship manager at Santander Bank, in business development for Homefield Credit Union and TD Bank, and as branch manager for Citizens Bank. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
CAREY SIERRA of Milford has joined ERA Key Realty Services as a Realtor in its Milford office. Sierra has five years of experience in real estate, and has worked as a project coordinator at Otis Elevator Co. in Canton and as a leasing consultant at Cohen Properties in Boston. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Metropolitan University.
PAUL C. FOLEY has been named managing partner of Mountain, Dearborn & Whiting LLP of Worcester. Foley has been a member of the law firm for 15 years and a partner since 2009. He is a 2004 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in Virginia, with his practice concentrated in general litigation and business law.
THOMAS J. BARTHOLOMEW, the president and CEO of the Worcester financial planning and wealth management firm Bartholomew & Co., has been named to the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for 2020. Bartholomew was included in the rankings from a methodology including client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, and quantitative criteria.
Dr. CATHERINE TUCKER has joined Nashoba Valley Medical Center and Steward Medical Group. Tucker, a general surgeon, worked for more than a decade at Hallmark Health Medical Associates on the North Shore. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and completed a surgical residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. Tucker joins Steward Medical Group Women’s Health at Nashoba Valley at 198 Groton Road in Ayer.
BRIDGET CARNEY-JAGNE has been promoted to executive director of Small Business Administration & finance of the Worcester Business Development Corp. She has worked with the WBDC for eight years prior to her promotion and has been involved in the growth of its SBA 504 loan program.
ALTAF AHMED has been appointed as the new senior vice president of retail banking of Cornerstone Bank in Worcester. Ahmed joins Cornerstone Bank with 20 years of experience in senior positions at a myriad of Massachusetts institutions. Prior to his addition to Cornerstone Bank, Ahmed worked with Bank of America in Boston overseeing the growth of a key retail market. He studied business administration at the University of Phoenix.
LISA DREXHAGE has been promoted by the Worcester Business Development Corp. to senior project manager. Preceding her promotion, Drexhage worked with the WBDC for six years, assisting in the development and success of the Worcester PopUP, Worcester Idea Lab, and the Black Box Theatre.
RORY Z. FAZENDEIRO has joined Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey as a partner. Previously, he practiced at a Boston law firm, focusing on assisting businesses in their growth from a start-up, as well as their financial ventures. Fazendeiro graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island.
REBECCA MACGREGOR has joined Bowditch & Dewey in Worcester as a partner to the law firm. She will focus on aiding families and small businesses throughout New England with charitable giving, general business, and real estate law matters. MacGregor is on the board of directors of the Boston Estate Planning Council and holds an master of law degree in taxation from Boston University.
SANDRA O’NEILL is now a partner with Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey. O’Neill is a tax attorney advising her clients on federal income tax matters in a variety of different ventures, including corporate mergers, joint ventures, and planning initiatives. She graduated from Harvard Law School.
DAVID A. MAWHINNEY is now an associate with Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey. He focuses on restructuring, insolvency, and commercial litigation, representing clients in a myriad of consumer and business bankruptcy cases. In 2019, he was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the American Bankruptcy Institute and earned his law degree from Boston College.
HUONG BACA joins the Worcester Regional Food Hub as a sales operation manager. She will be building relationships with chefs, food and beverage directors, and market managers to boost their access to local food distributors. Baca emigrated from Vietnam in 1986 and has utilized her love of farming she gained from being a farmer prior to coming to Worcester.
EMILJANO BEQO has been made the retail loan servicing and collections manager of Bay State Savings Bank’s 28 Franklin St. branch in Worcester. Beqo joined Bay State Savings Bank in 2009 as a teller and worked his way up to head teller before leaving in 2013. He returns to Bay State Savings Bank with more than 10 years of banking experience and an associates degree in computer science.
GRACE KIM has been named the vice president for business development in North America and Asia Pacific for Rentschler Biopharma in Milford. Kim, who is filling a newly created position, has more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, including working most recently as vice president at Northway Biotechpharma in Europe. She has a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in New York and a master’s from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.
Dr. WARREN ROSE joined Harrington Physician Services in Suite 108 of the Medical Arts building in Southbridge. Rose will practice routine, diagnostic, and complex surgeries, such as appendectomies, hernia repairs, and gallbladder removal. He has more than 30 years of experience in the general and laparoscopic surgery field. Prior to his employment by Harrington, Rose practiced at Medina Hospital-Cleveland Clinic.
The Board of the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts has three newly appointed directors, Dr. ALBERTO J. F. CARDELLE, CHRISTIE L. HAGER, and CAROLYN S. LANGER. Cardelle is the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Fitchburg State University. Hager is the associate vice chancellor and managing director at UMass Medical School and Commonhealth Medicine in Worcester. Langer is the senior vice president & chief medical officer at Fallon Health in Worcester.
