GEORGE ARONSTEIN, chief operating officer of APEX Entertainment in Marlborough, was named the Business Person of the Year by the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce for 2025. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, Aronstein has been with Apex Entertainment since 2018 and was promoted to the COO role in April 2024.
MARC LINE and STEPHEN WOLFF have begun their roles as realtors at ERA Key Realty Services’ Framingham office. Line works as an automotive technician at Mirak Automotive Group in Arlington. He previously worked as a security guard for Securitas Group’s and as a sales associate at HomeGoods, both in Framingham. Line graduated with his associate’s degree from Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley Hills. Prior to joining ERA Key, Wolf worked at Rave Mobile Safety in Framingham as an account manager and customer success manager and at MathWorks in Natick as a software maintenance representative. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University and attended the University of Maryland, College Park.
JEREMY TOAL has been named integrated services project manager at Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects as he returns to the Hopkinton-based firm since beginning his career there. In his new position, Toal will leverage his more than 30 years of experience as a licensed architect to work with several Gorman teams to head initiatives including quality assurance, support project management, and equitable design practices.
Wakefield-based First Financial Trust has hired SEAN DOUCETTE as a vice president and investment officer at the wealth management company’s Leominster office. Before coming to First Financial, Doucette had spent more than two decades working in wealth management and financial advising, including serving as a retirement plan advisor for Empower, a Colorado-based financial investment company. Doucette graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.
SHANE RODRIGUEZ has been appointed by Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey to Fitchburg State University’s board of trustees. A 1993 alumnus of the university, Rodriguez was nominated by FSU President Donna Hodge and Chair of the Board Michael Fiorentino. He owns a private legal practice and serves as an assistant professor at the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover.
OMAR MAHMOOD has been appointed vice president, banking center manager at Fidelity Bank’s Shrewsbury Street location in Worcester. Mahmood brings his more than 15 years of bank operations and business development experience to Fidelity, having most recently worked as assistant vice president and business development manager at Northern Bank & Trust in Woburn. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business and management from Fauji Foundation College for Boys in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Two employees have been promoted to senior vice president roles at Clinton Savings Bank. ROBERT RIVARD has been promoted to SVP, chief lending officer. In his new role, Rivard manages lending production and portfolio management for the bank’s residential, consumer and commercial lending division. JEANIE CONNOLLY has assumed Rivard’s previous role as SVP, commercial lending officer. Connolly now heads Clinton Savings’ commercial team to build business relationships and provide financial solutions for customer needs.
Seder & Chandler has named JAMES O’CONNOR as partner of the Worcester-based law firm, focusing his practice on civil litigation, appellate, bankruptcy, and business law matters. Previously, he served as counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue before the state’s Appellate Tax Board and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. O’Connor previously served as partner at Nickless, Phillips & O’Connor in Fitchburg.
