Middlesex Savings Bank to open new Maynard Crossing branch
In September, Maynard Crossing began construction of anchor tenant Market Basket.
Middlesex Savings Bank of Natick plans to open a new branch in Maynard in spring 2021, the Capital Group Properties said in a statement announcing the lease agreement Monday morning.
The New Middlesex Savings Bank branch will be stationed in a 4,000-square-foot pad building with dual lane drive-thrus.
The branch will be located at 129 Parker St. the Maynard Crossing development, which includes a Market Basket, Planet Fitness and Dunkin' among its first tenants. Future tenants are slated to include restaurants, retail stores and a 180-unite high-end apartment complex that is already open, according to the statement.
The Natick-headquartered bank already operates 30 branches around Massachusetts.
