GFA Federal Credit Union of Gardner has re-elected three members of its volunteer board of directors to new three-year terms. They are CHARLES BOWLES, the credit union’s retired former president and CEO; DOUGLAS DELAY, a purchasing manager at Latrobe Specialty Metals; and MARK HAWKE, the town administrator for the Town of Westminster, and the former Gardner mayor. 

Gretheline Bolandria

CKC Community VNA, a Framingham home health agency, has appointed GRETHELINE BOLANDRINA, the academy director for Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School’s Practical Nursing Academy in Charlton to its professional advisory board. Bonadrina has served as vice president of the Philippine Nurses Association of New England and on the board of Iskwelahang Pilipino, a cultural school in Bedford. She has a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix, where she is a candidate for a doctorate degree in health administration.

RICHARD ALLEN of Marlborough has joined the Marlborough offices of Northbridge-based ERA Key Realty Services as a Realtor. Allen has more than 30 years of experience in real estate investment, and writes a blog at realinsyghts.com. He was most recently an associate director at Wayfair in Boston. He has an MBA from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst.

Corp Events New England of Westborough has hired DIANE CASAVANT and NICOLE DEQUATTRO to lead its new general contracting division. Casavant, the new senior conference and trade show coordinator, has 21 years of trade show and event experience, and specializes in customer relations and support for show management. DeQuattro, the general service contracting director of sales, has more than a decade of experience in the event service industry and has an MBA and bachelor’s degree in sports, entertainment and events management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence. 

Barry Walsh

BARENT “BARRY” WALSH of Open Sky Community Services in Worcester has been named a fellow by the International Society for the Study of Self-Injury. Walsh was the executive director of the predecessor agency to Open Sky, The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, for 40 years, retiring from the position in 2016. He is now an executive director emeritus and senior clinical consultant helping Open Sky on suicidality and self-injury. 

George W. Tetler III

GEORGE W. TETLER III, a partner at the Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey, has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s inaugural list of top 20 Massachusetts Go To Lawyers for Business Law. Tetler was recognized for his expertise in working with financial institutions, investors and others for help with mergers and acquisitions, capital investments and other business planning matters, and was cited for a few instances of his work, including a major retail acquisition and the development of a Worcester mixed-use building.

Dr. ARCHANA SHAH, a family medicine physician, has joined Harrington Physician Services’ family medicine practice in Charlton. Shah has provided primary care in Massachusetts for more than 20 years, mostly at Steward Medical Group at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. She received her medical degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda in India and completed her residency at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Ill., where she served as chief resident. 

Michelle Bettigole

MICHELLE BETTIGOLE has joined Ascentria Care Alliance as chief senior care officer, responsible for managing the Worcester agency’s network of senior care facilities and its in-home program. Bettigole has more than 20 years of senior management experience and was previously an executive director of continuing care retirement communities for both Watermark Retirement Communities of Arizona and Life Care Services of Iowa. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s degree in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and a master’s in nursing administration from Yale University in Connecticut. 

Amal Mumtaz

Contractor firm Colantonio Inc. of Holliston has hired AMAL MUMTAZ as assistant project manager and JENNIFER POLES as junior staff accountant. Mumtaz joins the company with five years of project controls experience in corporate real estate and in construction management, including work as an on-site representative. Poles brings 12 years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, and office management. Her background also includes procedure development, website management, and staff training. 

Paula Paldino

PAULA E. PALDINO of Worcester has been named Clinton Savings Bank’s senior vice president and compliance and security officer, responsible for overseeing the bank’s compliance management system and operational activities including strategy development and compliance testing. She joined the bank in 2012 and was promoted to vice president in 2014. Paldino previously worked at Millbury Credit Union and People’s United Bank.

JESSICA M. FAVREAU of Worcester has been hired by Bay State Savings Bank in Worcester as commercial loan officer. She joins the bank from Clinton Savings Bank. Favreau has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Worcester State University and an MBA from New England Institute of Business and Finance at Cambridge College in Boston.

AAFCPAs, a tax and accounting firm with offices in Westborough, Waltham, Wellesley and Boston, has hired CIPRIAN BARNA as a partner in its commercial tax practice. Barna has more than 20 years of experience at national and regional accounting firms, and has a master’s degree from Bentley University in Boston and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Northeastern University in Boston. 

Timothy Monahan

TIMOTHY MONAHAN of Westborough has been named a partner at the Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey. Monahan concentrates his practice on business and finance law, including mergers, acquisitions and sales, entity formations, and joint ventures. He has more than 10 years of experience and joined Bowditch in 2018. Monahan has a bachelor’s degree in history and a law degree from Boston College.

LAWRENCE R. PALMER has been promoted by Clinton Savings Bank to senior vice president and information technology officer. Palmer joined Clinton Savings Bank in 2016 and has 28 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. He has a bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst.

JEFFREY SCOTT has been promoted to senior vice president by GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner, directing the credit union’s technology investments and assets. Scott joined GFA in May as vice president and chief technology officer, and has 20 years of experience in banking.

CARY FORMAN of Sudbury has joined Clinton Savings Bank as senior vice president and chief lending officer. Forman has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate lending and credit administration, and previously worked at Citizens Bank as the U.S. Small Business Administration national director. She has a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and business management from Cornell University and an MBA from York University in Toronto. 

Dr. Vinod Mohan

Dr. VINOD MOHAN of Heywood Hospital in Gardner and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester has been named an honorary citizen of the year by the City of Gardner for his work during the coronavirus pandemic. Mohan, an infectious disease specialist, received the honor from Mayor Michael Nicholson.

SUZIE FIGUEIREDO of Taunton has been named human resources director at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester. She previously worked as the director of human resources at Steward Morton Hospital in Taunton, as well as in human resources roles for UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Figueiredo earned her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, and is pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration at Worcester State University.

SHANNON BARTOLOMUCCI has been named the assistant vice president and branch manager at the Keene, N.H., branch of Cheshire County Federal Credit Union, a division of GFA Federal Credit Union. She has more than 20 years of banking experience and will play a key role in day-to-day operations of the Keene location.
